Chicken Sausage Curry




This is a simple method of making sausage curry.. It taste very good like chicken curry. I try this at my home. Served with chappattis and also with rice


Let's get cooking!!!


Ingredients:



  1. Sausage (Chicken): 1 Packet
  2. Onion: 3.sliced
  3. Ginger: 1.5 inch.chopped
  4. Garlic: 18-20 cloves chopped.
  5. Curry leaves: 1 sprig.
  6. Kashmiri Red Chilly Powder: 1 1/2 to 2 tbsp, adjust according to your taste.(if using ordinary red chilly powder, reduce by half)
  7. Coriander powder: 1 tbsp, heaped.
  8. Turmeric: 1/4 tsp.
  9. Pepper powder: 3/4 tsp.
  10. Garam Masala: 2 tsp.
  11. Tomatoes: 2, large chopped or 3 medium.
  12. Salt: 1.5 tsp or as needed.
  13. Coconut oil: 4 tbsp.
  14. Curry leaves.
  15. Water: About 1 cup...


Method:

Take all ingredients.



Cut Sausages into small pieces in any shape as you like.



Heat oil in a heavy bottomed pan or use pressure cooker.



Add  ginger and garlic and mix well..
Add  onions

Add curry leaves and green chillies into it.



and put salt into it and cook for 3 mins 

Add in tomatoes and mix well.






Add  Garam masala,turmeric,chilli and coriander powder..Cook this for 30 sec..





Add  Sausage pieces and mix well...




Add  a cup of water.



.Cover and cook until sausage well cooked...


Our spicy Sausage curry is ready to serve.. serve as hot with porotta, rice or as u like..
