- Beef(cut into bite sized pieces)- 1 kg
- Thinly sliced coconut pieces-3/4 cup(I didnt used this time)
- Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
- Ginger (chopped)- 2tbsp
- Garlic(chopped)-1 tbsp
- Curry leaves- 3 to 4 sprigs
- Green Chillies-3 or 4
- Soya sauce
- Onion sliced-1 big
- Salt to taste
- Coconut oil
- Coriander powder- 2 tbsp
- Chili powder-1 tbsp( or Kashmiri chili powder-2 to 3 tbsp,according to taste)
- Black pepper powder- 1 tsp
- Garam masala powder-1 tsp
- Water
- Cook the beef pieces along with water, turmeric powder and salt.Drain it and keep aside.
- Heat oil in a large frying pan,Saute onions,ginger,garlic ,green chillies when it become golden brown add curry leaves and soya sauce(At this step you can add coconut pieces)
- We will get a nice aroma .Now add all powders
- Now add the cooked beef and saute on a medium heat for about 15 to 20 minutes or until it is almost dry.(if you prefer dry fry ,cook for another 5 to minutes until it is completely dry.)
