Cucumber Mint Juice -Amazing cooler..
Most people are unaware of the immense health benefits of cucumber and would avoid eating cucumber where possible. Fresh cucumber may taste “bland” to some but its thirst-quenching and cooling properties are refreshing. It acts as an anti-oxidant when taken together with fried and barbequed foods.It may helps in acidity,high blood pressure,water retendation,hair growth etc.One of the serving method of cucumber as follows.It is tasty cooler.
Ingredients:
- Cucumber - 2 or 3 small sized
- Mint Leaves - 5 or 6

Wheat jaggery instant dosa
Ingredients
1. Wheat Flour – 1 cup or can use atta
2. Powdered Jaggery – ¾ cup to 1 cup (according to your taste)
3. Cardamom powder – ¼ tsp

Vendakka Mezhukkupuratti / Ladies Finger Stir fry
Today I am sharing the simple recipe of Vendakka Mezhkkupuratti( Ladies Finger Stir fry), which is very easy to prepare and goes very well with rice. This is the very simplest method of cooking ladies finger..
Ingredients:
- Chopped Ladies Finger / Okra / Vendakka - 2 1/2 cups ( Medium size pieces)
- Green chillies - 3-4 Nos (Split length-wise)
- Chopped Onions - 1/2 cup
- Curry leaves-1 string

Sweet wheat balls (Undampori)
This is a sweet snack. It is nutritious due to the wheat content and banana. It is very high in calories and so, a heavy snack...It is a favorite dish which is mostly seen in the village tea shop. Here is the method to make the dish...
Ingredients:
- Wheat flour-2 1/2 cups
- Cardamom powder-1/4 teaspoon
- Jaggery solution-2 cup
- Coconut pieces(thenga kothu)- 3tbsp
- Baking Soda-1/4 teaspoon
- Ripe banana-1 big
- Water -as needed
- Cooking oil for deep frying.
- Method:
- In a large bowl, mix wheat flour, cardamom powder, jaggery and baking soda.
- Mash banana well and transfer to the bowl
- Knead all the ingredients very well to make a soft fluffy dough (can add a little water if it is not fluffy and soft enough).
- Keep it covered aside for 2-3 hours to ferment.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer. Wet your palms with a little water and make balls of desired size and fry it in the pan until the external browns well.
- Serve as hot with tea.Enjoy...

Fish Curry
Ingredients:
- Fish – 500g cut into medium pieces
- Small onion – 8-10
- Fenugreek seeds (uluva) – ¼ tsp
- Red chilli powder – 2 tsp
- Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
Parippuvada
Ingrediants
- Dal : 1 Cup
- Green chillies : 3 Nos
- Ginger : 1 inch piece
- Shallots : 12 Nos/onion
- Curry leaves : 1 Sprig
- Salt : As needed
- Asafoetida powder : A pinge(Kaayam)
- Cooking oil : 1 cup for deep frying
