Chilli Chicken Recipe




Ingredients:
  1. Chicken                     -         500gms boneless chicken
  2. Ginger garlic paste  -          1tbsp
  3. Onions                       -          3
  4. Green chillies           -          4 or 5 nos
  5. Soya sauce                -          2tsp
  6. Capsicum                  -          1 chopped
  7. Turmeric Pwd            -           1 tsp
  8. Red Chilli pwd           -          2 tbsp
  9. Cornflour                  -           3tbsp
  10. Vinegar                      -           1tsp
  11. Tomato ketchup      -           2tsp
  12. Coriander leaves      -          Few
  13. Salt and pepper to taste
  14. Oil for frying.
Method:

  1.  Clean the chicken 
  2.  Make a paste with 2tbsp cornflour and water.
  3.  Add half the ginger garlic paste,  soya sauce, vinegar, salt and pepper.
  4.  Marinate chicken with this mixture for 20 minutes.
  5. Chop the onions into cube like  pieces and slit the green chillies
  6. Heat the oil and deep fry the chicken pieces. Drain excess oil and keep it aside.
  7.  Add the rest of the ginger garlic paste and fry.
  8. Add in onion and saute well. 
  9. Add in capsicum and saute for 2 minutes.
  10.  Add the chicken, soy sauce, vinegar, tomato ketchup, sugar, salt and pepper.
  11. Mix 1 tbsp of the cornflour with water and add to the chicken. Mix well. Boil till it thickens.
  12. Serve hot garnished with coriander leaves . Enjoy  with maida porotta..
