Crab roast | A Spicy dish
Ingredients:
- Crab cleaned- 500 gms
- Onion - 3nos
- Green chilies- 4 nos
- Ginger- 1" piece
- Garlic- 4 cloves
- Curry leaves- 1 sprig
- Tomato chopped- 1 small
- Red chili powder- 1 to 1.5 tsp
- Turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
- Coriander powder- 1 tsp
- Black pepper powder-1/2 tsp
- Garam masala powder-1/4 tsp
- Fennel powder-1/4 tsp
- Salt to tast
- Oil- as required.
Method:
- Wash and clean Crab with shell.
- Boil crab with turmeric powder in a pan with 1/2 cup water for 15 minutes or till cooked the water in the pan dries up.
- Heat oil in a seperate pan. Fry chopped onions till golden brown and add all other ingrediants into it.
- Add chopped tomato and the curry leaves into it.Stir for a minute.
- Add the cooked crab and salt into the above mixture.
- Cover with a lid and cook on a low heat for 10 minutes. Serve hot with rice.
