Egg Roast.. Easy and Tasty...(Nadan Mutta Roast)
Ingredients:
- Egg boiled -2
- Onion - 2nos
- Green chilies- 2 nos
- Ginger- 1" piece
- Garlic- 4 cloves
- Curry leaves- 1 sprig
- Tomato chopped- 1 small
- Red chili powder- 1 to 1.5 tsp
- Turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
Rava Kachiyath * Ramadan Special *
Thari Kanji / Thari Kachiyathu / Rava Payasam is one of my favorite Iftar Dish.
Ingredients:
To make 1 glass of Rava kachiyath:
2 glass milk
Cardomon-2 nos
4 tbsp Semolina
4 tbsp Sugar (Add more to sweeten more)
Pinch of salt
For seasoning:
Ghee - 1/2 tbsp
Very finely chopped shallots - 2,3
2 cashew-nuts made half
Raisins - few nos
Method:
Dry roast semolina for 2 mins and keep aside.
Boil milk and add semolina to milk and reduce flame.
Continuously stir it until semolina is cooked.
Add sugar and a pinch of salt. Switch off the flame.
For seasoning:
Serve hot this iftar special desert.But the dish tastes yummy if chilled also. Enjoy it !!!

Ghee - 1/2 tbsp

2 cashew-nuts made half
Raisins - few nos
Method:
Dry roast semolina for 2 mins and keep aside.

Continuously stir it until semolina is cooked.
Add sugar and a pinch of salt. Switch off the flame.
For seasoning:
- Fry cashew nuts (Almonds )and Raisins in ghee and keep aside.
- In the same ghee sauté shallots until golden brown.
- Pour golden brown shallots along with ghee and fried cashew-nuts and dry grapes to milk mixture.
