Butter Chicken Step by step Recipe



Ingredients:

  1. Chicken pieces                          - ½ kg
  2. Butter                                        - 3 tbsp
  3. Oil                                               - 2 tbsp
  4. Red chilly pwd                          - 1 tbsp
  5. Lime juice                                  - 2 tbsp
  6. Tomato puree                           - 1 tbsp
  7. Yoghurt                                      - 1 cup
  8. Garam masala pwd                     - ½ tbsp
  9. Coriander pwd                           - ½ tbsp
  10. Cumin pwd                                 - ¼  tbsp
  11. Turmeric pwd                             - ½ tsp
  12. Onion                                         - 2
  13. Ginger garlic paste                       - 1 tbsp
  14. Green chilli                                  -1 or 2
  15. Coriander leaves                          - handful
  16. Salt to taste




Method:


Clean the chicken pieces.
Take a bowl and prepare marinate with  red chilly pwd, Lime juice and salt.
Marinate the chicken pieces for 1 hour.

Add  yoghurt, garam masala pwd,, cumin pwd and turmeric pwd to the marinate.
Combine well and allow to marinate for another 1 hour.


Heat  butter in a fry pan.


Now add only the chicken pieces from the marinade and fry in high..If you need more butter you can add or add cooking oil.


done... Set aside..


Into the rest of butter 
Add ginger garlic paste.crushed chilli and fry till raw smell disappears.


Add onion pieces and fry to transculent.


Add salt.. Then add tomato puree..


Add in soy sauce..


Add all spice powders..


Bring to boil.. for 2 min..


2 min over.. add fresh cream..


Then add chicken pieces..


Cover it and cook for sometime...(at this step can add coriander leaves..I skipped :) sorry )



Serve it ... garnish it with fresh cream as a toping... enjoy.. with porotta,rice etc..
