Dal curry easy method | Parippu curry


Ingredients:

  1. Dal-2 cups
  2. Onion- 1 Large
  3. Green Chillies-3 nos split it into half
  4. Curry leaves-few nos
  5. Mustard seeds-1 tsp
  6. Dry red chillies-2,3 nos
  7. Oil-2,3 tbsp
  8. Salt as required
  9. Water 2 cups


Method :

Take all your ingredients




Heat oil in a heavy bottomed pan or pressure cooker.



Add in chopped Onion ,Green chillies and Curry leaves.Saute well.


Add salt. 




 When onion becomes transparent add chilli powder and mix well


Add in water and soaked dal


Mix well



Add more water if you need. Cook well


Season it with mustard and dry chilli




Dal curry is ready..




Enjoy with chappati,Poori or Rotti.
